About us
The Ph.D./Master Program in Business and Operations Management was established in 2017, and was administered by the College of Management. specializing in high-level management personnel training and academic research.
Through hard work and strong management skills, the institute’s directors have implemented a system which has achieved a high level of expertise in such areas as teaching and student affairs, academic research, and paper presentations. As the only doctoral program in the CJCU, a unique atmosphere has formed in the Ph.D./Master Program in Business and Operations Management, where the research culture is strong, organized and cohesive, and the experiences of graduate students are well respected. The institute also strives to maintain a strong and stable learning environment for Master’s and Doctoral programs’ students, making the overall academic experience a harmonious one.

At present, the Ph.D./Master Program in Business and Operations Management has 4 Master’s Program classes, with a total of 54 registered students, and has 7 Doctoral Program classes, with a total of 34 registered students. The total number of students of the Ph.D./Master Program in Business and Operations Management is 88.
Features
With the purpose of equipping managerial and innovative research professionals with knowledge they can put into practice, the Ph.D./Master Program in Business and Operations Management has developed a Christian-oriented education system based on five central tenets: “professionalization, diversification, integration, internationalization, and macro-perspectives.” The features of the Ph.D./Master Program in Business and Operations Management Master’s and Doctoral Programs are as follows:
1. MBA program (HMR):
1. Humble service practice: The Master Program in Business and Operations Management believes in the spirit of the Good Shepherd Jesus Christ, who washed his disciples’ feet to teach the spirit of humble service.
2. Managerial professionals cultivation: The Master Program in Business and Operations Management breeds managerial professionals schooled in four modules, human resource management, operation management, financial management, and marketing management. 3. Regional demand satisfaction: The Master Program in Business and Operations Management provides managerial professionals for three major science parks (the Southern Taiwan Science Park, the Tainan Science Park, and the Kaohsiung Science Park in Luzhu village) and for four major industrial parks (in Yongkang, Anping, Bao An, and Guantian).
2. PhD program (HMI):

2. Management theory development: The Ph.D. Program in Business and Operations Management researches management theory and develops local business models.
3. Innovation research devotion: The Ph.D. Program in Business and Operations Management actively supports research into management and reports the results of efforts to apply technological innovations in this area.
Faculty
The Ph.D./Master Program in Business and Operations Management is committed to providing a complete teaching environment which cultivates business management and research professionals who have professional knowledge and abilities, creative thinking skills, good characters, and an international perspective. The current teaching team, These individuals represent a board range of academic and professional skills.
Curriculum
The MBA program is divided into four teaching modules— “Human Resource Management”, “Operation Management”, “Financial Management”, and “Marketing Management.” The PhD program is divided into six fields of teaching and research— “Human Resource Management”, “Operation Management”, “Financial Management”, “Information Management”, “Marketing Management”, and “Strategic Mamagement.” Although they cover some similar topics, the curriculums for the MBA and PhD programs are different.
Facilities
We currently provide a business management automation technology laboratory, two study rooms for MBA program students, a study room and a seminar room for PhD program students, and two large professional ladder classrooms for different uses in research and teaching.
Development
We constantly strive for excellence in the fields of teaching and research and to refine our methods based on the results that are achieved. The focus of development includes the following four areas: (1) we offer rewards for students to actively participate in international academic seminars to achieve the Ph.D./Master Program in Business and Operations Management educational aims; (2) we strengthen research methodology courses with lectures and discussions, in order to enhance the quality of students’ research; (3) we seek the support of other schools and institutions, and work to acquire resources from the government and others in order to organize national and international academic activities; (4) we continue to improve and promote the Ph.D./Master Program in Business and Operations Management development goals and our overall research capabilities and academic reputation, in order to attract the best students to apply to our institution.
