Brief introduction to AACSB International

AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a global nonprofit association, is one of the most sought-after international accrediting associations for business schools: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. To advance quality management education as well as to create the next generation of great leaders, AACSB connects educators, students, and business worldwide.

Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest-serving global accrediting association for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting. The global organization has offices located in Tampa, Florida, USA; Amsterdam, the Netherlands; and Singapore. With a presence of over 1,900 member institutions in more than 100 countries and territories, AACSB fosters engagement, accelerates innovation, and amplifies impact in business education. As of November 2023, 1,000+ institutions across 60+ countries and territories have achieved AACSB Accreditation in business; there are currently 38 AACSB member institutions in Taiwan, and 30 schools (out of 38) were accredited.
