The Ministry of Education has launched the "University Career and Competency Assessment Network -UCAN" which combines career interest exploration and Competency assessment, based on the needs of the industry for increasing students' understanding of the workplace. |
Purpose |
|
|
1. Assist students with understanding the weakness in their competency in the early stage and program the ability development plan. 2. Assist students with confirming their career direction and explore the career interests for planning career development in advance. 3. Based on the needs of the industry, increase students' understanding of workplace trends and self-competency. 4. Reduce the difficulty of employment caused by the gap between academe and industry; or the high ratio of transfer caused by the undetermined career direction. |

"Occupational Aptitude Diagnostic Test" The Career personality Aptitude System, the diagnosis tool was developed by the Japanese psychologist Dr. Ito Yuhachiro. The test results help students understand their own "12 major personalities at workplace ", "6 core competencies at work” and "leadership potential". |
Purpose |

Help students explore the personality traits and potentials for getting a clear understanding of themselves. 2. Understand your own personalities, attitude and ability to cope in the workplace, find out the strengths and weaknesses of yourselves, and master career "Aptitude". 3. Help students to think about the real "right talent and place", which helps to plan the future career direction. 4. Enhance the effectiveness of the employment counseling for students by the establishment of a consulting service mechanism and a network. |
