Competition objectives
The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has sparked transformative changes across the globe. Generative AI, in particular, has driven groundbreaking innovation across diverse industries. It has become imperative for us to understand how to harness generative AI without being overshadowed by it. Given the rapid progress in AI applications, we encourage the younger generation to leverage generative AI to unlock their boundless creativity and propel its applications to new heights.

- Eligibility Requirements
- College and university students.
- Participants can consist of individuals or teams, with a limit of five members per team. We strongly encourage the formation of interdisciplinary teams to foster diverse perspectives and creative problem-solving.
- Each team should invite one college or university teacher as an advisor.

- Specifications of works
The theme of this competition is applying generative AI to solve a chosen problem. Each team may select a problem based on their professional field and tries to employ generative AI to solve this chosen problem. The submitted works should include the following contents:
- Problem description (within two pages).
- Solution proposal (within five pages).
- Explain how to apply generative AI to solve the chosen problem (within five pages).
- Please edit and submit the work in English and the PDF format.
The images and content included in the resulting work must not violate copyright laws. Participants are responsible for any legal consequences resulting from such violations, and the organizers will not assume any legal responsibility. The organizers also reserve the right to disqualify any participant who breaches this rule.。
- Evaluation Methods and Principles
- Eligibility Review: To ensure fairness and adherence to public order and information ethics regulations, the organizer reserves the right to conduct a preliminary review of the submitted works. This review aims to ensure that all works meet the competition theme and participation guidelines. Only works that pass this eligibility review will proceed to the evaluation stage.
- Evaluation Criteria: The organizers will invite a panel of judges to evaluate the submitted works. The evaluation criteria are as follows:

The actual number of awards will be determined by the judging panel based on the quality of the submissions. If necessary, awards may be given "by default" (i.e., no award).
- Precautions
- Participants must carefully read the competition rules and related regulations and instructions. If a participant is found to be ineligible, to have submitted false work, to have violated copyright laws, or to have breached the registration rules or any other laws, the organizer has the right to disqualify them from the competition or revoke their award. The organizer may also reclaim any certificates and prizes that have already been issued. Participants may not object to these actions, and disqualified positions will not be filled.
- After the winners' list is announced and the winners are notified by the organizers, they must personally attend the award online ceremony. Those who are unable to attend will have their award revoked, and the position will not be filled.
- Award-winning teams must submit their project files. Failure to do so will result in the revocation of their award, and the position will not be filled.
- Participants must agree to allow the organizers to use their submitted works for teaching or research purposes. This includes the right to reproduce, distribute, adapt, publicly transmit, broadcast, and screen the work both domestically and internationally. There will be no limitations on the methods and frequency of use, and no additional compensation will be provided.
- If the winning work is a collaborative creation, each team member will be awarded a certificate.
- For the purposes of participant management, registration management, identity verification during the event, event communication, competition-related information contact, and related administrative tasks, the organizers may collect and process personal data of participants or other members. Those who do not consent to the collection and processing of their personal data may have their eligibility for selection or awards revoked by the organizers.
- Works that have previously won awards in similar domestic or international competitions are not allowed to enter again. Submitting the same work to multiple competitions is prohibited. If reported or verified, the organizers reserve the right to revoke the participant's award and reclaim any prizes received.
- The organizers/contractors are responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of participants' personal data and copyrights.
- The organizers reserve the right to modify the event rules.
