Chang Jung Christian University Successfully Hosts the 2024 International Generative Artificial Intelligence Innovation Application Competition, Showcasing New Heights in Cross-Disciplinary Innovative

On December 27th, 2024, Chang Jung Christian University held the award ceremony for the "2024 International Generative Artificial Intelligence Innovation Application Competition."As an international event, the ceremony was conducted both in person and online, attracting faculty and students from four countries—Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, and Indonesia—to witness the outstanding achievements and future potential of generative AI applications.

Organized by the College of Management at Chang Jung Christian University, the competition featured participants from various countries and academic disciplines, demonstrating exceptional innovation capabilities. Among the winners, Chang Jung Christian University's Green Energy Department student Wen Zhenghong won first prize with his project, "Agricultural Image AI Analysis: Healthy Vegetation Identification by Drone." This project combined drone technology with AI to achieve innovative applications in agricultural image analysis and healthy vegetation identification. Additionally, several students from Japan and other schools performed remarkably, earning honorable mentions.

Vice President Sun Huimin noted that the applications of generative AI continue to expand. This international competition highlighted the students' ability to transform creativity into practical applications, laying a solid foundation for future technological innovation. The competition not only enhanced students' practical skills in the AI field but also underscored Chang Jung Christian University's efforts and accomplishments in promoting cross-disciplinary innovative education, injecting fresh momentum into internationalized education.
