Overseas Students
Dear CJCU Students
To effectively prevent the epidemic of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), in Taiwan, we all need to follow the commands from Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC). All the countermeasures we have taken are regulated by CECC and Ministry of Education in Taiwan. CJCU loves every students and definitely try hard to protect each of your right and fight for your health. We would appreciate your understanding for what we must do and implement right now by the commands from Taiwan government.
CJCU has delayed the semester to March 2nd, and this is a decision after a comprehensive consideration on epidemic prevention and your rights for education. To enable all students to start the school on time, we strongly recommend you to return to Taiwan by February 16. For those who do so and who happen to live at the dormitory, you will be charged no fee for living in the dorm before the new semester.
According to CECC, after February 7, anyone who has traveled to China, Hong Kong, or Macau within 14 days before you return to Taiwan, you are mandatory to report to CJCU and will receive a 14-day quarantine in a self-health management area at CJCU campus. Therefore, another strong recommendation goes to you is that stop traveling to or even making transits in China, Hong Kong, or Macau. Otherwise, you will not be able to enter Taiwan.
For your health insurance, we are still waiting for the advice from the Ministry of Education, and will inform you right after we are notified.
Please be reminded again that watch your diets, wash hands often and thoroughly, and cover your coughs and sneezes to reduce the risk of infection. We are looking forward to seeing you again in the near future.
If you change your flight returning to Taiwan, please complete the questionnaire again. Please answer truthfully to protect yourself and others.
