EMBA Brief History & Educational Mission
Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU) upholds the core values of academic research, talent cultivation, cultural enrichment, and social service, dedicating itself to promoting national sustainable development. In response to global economic trends and internationalization, the university actively integrates the teaching resources and cross-disciplinary expertise of its various colleges. Built upon a foundation of holistic education, CJCU strives to forge an outstanding educational brand that balances local care with a global perspective.
The program was established on August 1, 1999, originally as an in-service master's program within the Graduate Institute of Business and Management. Following outstanding educational achievements, it was approved by the Ministry of Education in 2006 to be renamed the "Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)" program. In 2007, it officially became an independent graduate institute under the College of Management.
The establishment of this program aims to adapt to eras of change and industry demands, bringing together elites from various fields. Through a rigorous curriculum that integrates theory and practice, the program comprehensively enhances executives' professional insights, business strategies, information technology, leadership skills, and humanistic literacy to meet the talent needs of corporate transformation and sustainable development.
Program Characteristics & Future Outlook
The ultimate goal of the CJCU EMBA program is to "cultivate high-level management talent that integrates theory and practice." Moving forward, the program will continue to optimize its top-tier faculty, expand forward-looking teaching facilities, and deepen industry-academia collaboration networks. By comprehensively enhancing its brand value and social impact, the program aims to build a cradle of excellence for innovative and practical executives.
