《International learning》International exchange
📌Introduction
At present, CJCU has more than 160 partner universities and nearly 40 sister departments in Europe, Asia, America, Australia, Africa and other places. Therefore, each year, students have more than 100 places available to them for exchanges, such as the United States, Canada, Austria, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, China, and Hong Kong. There are also dozens of foreign students studying at CJCU as exchange students or short-term trainees. CJCU has also joined international organizations such as the ACUCA, UMAP, and United Board to provide students with opportunities for international activities such as student exchanges and overseas volunteering.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure uninterrupted exchange and learning experiences, CJCU collaborated with partner universities to promote online exchange programs. During this period, we received 51 students from 9 partner universities in 3 countries who participated in online exchange courses. As we enter the post-pandemic era and partner universities resume physical exchange programs, CJCU received 31 exchange students in the 2022 academic year. Regarding outbound exchanges, our students have gone to Japan, South Korea, the Czech Republic, France, Austria, Spain, the United States, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Following the pandemic, the number of outbound exchange students has gradually recovered, with 8 students sent in the 2021 academic year, 12 students in the 2022 academic year, 34 students in the 2023 academic year, and at least 39 students expected to be sent to various partner universities in the 2024 academic year.

In 2023, we selected outstanding students to participate in a five-day immersive experience in Kamikatsu. They will share what they have learned and heard and gradually implement the Zero Waste Project on campus. Future collaborations with the INOW Program will be determined based on annual project planning.
