The Department of Health Psychology (the former name was the Department of Clinic Psychology) was built up in 2006. We expect our students to have basic knowledge and skills of psychology, which help them contribute to humankind. There are three main educational aims in our department, as the following. To equip students for mental health Students are prepared for basic psychological knowledge for further study in counseling and guidance, health promotion, human resource, and other psychological domains. We also arrange many curricula and activities to enhance students’ mental health and well-being. To care about and help others We hope our undergraduates to have abilities and wills to service others. We cooperate with medical institutes and non-medical institutes, which provide intern positions for our students. It is expected that intern experience will contribute to the understanding psychological knowledge in a real situation and to the motivation to be professional psychologists. |
