1.Direction of development
This program aims to cultivate professional talent in interactive design. Therefore, there are four directions for the development of this program, namely "Digital", "Creative", "Design" and "Interaction."
The digital courses are based on courses in the related information department. To become a developer who interacts with information devices, students must understand the design principles of information devices, know how to communicate with these information devices, and be able to use digital tools to express their ideas and ideas.
The purpose of the Creativity Thinking module is to allow students to start with basic creative thinking methods and become familiar with various ways of thinking about creative ideas, and try out different creative techniques in the physical planning project to understand the relationship and importance of creativity and design.
The design courses are based on design aesthetics. Courses include "color studies" and "computer illustrations," supplemented by courses such as "Human-Machine Interface Design" and "Design Psychology," to become professionals with design aesthetics.
The interactive course is divided into two aspects:
- Interaction with physical devices: Teaching students about mobile (or tablet) programming related knowledge, and learning and smart device interaction and applications, such as somatosensory devices, drones and so on.
- Interaction with content: In this series of courses, we will teach students how to interact with users through web and game interfaces, and incorporate design aesthetics and other related elements into their works.

This program conforms to the national construction and industry's talent demand trends of “interactive programming”, “interactive interface website design”, and “app application design”, and cultivates talents for basic design of aesthetic design. The development focus of this program is as follows: :
- Intensify students' use of information technology and interact with smart devices or handheld devices to develop interactive applications.
- Integrate the field of interactive information technology and art aesthetics to cater for the new development trend of digital art life.
- It is necessary for the talents of information network media production, sensors and mobile devices App to cooperate with Tainan Science Park, Luzhu Science Park and Kaohsiung Software Park. To cultivate systematic analysis talents for digital contents required by Yongkang Creative Design Park and Tainan Science and Technology Industrial Park, and to promote the cooperation of production, government and education.
- In response to the development of hand-held devices and wearable devices, the demand for designing human resources for application tools.
- Make full use of interactive media and computer interface technology to promote digital interactive art activities, highlighting the "people-oriented" digital technology concept.
- The development of the programming skills of the School of Information Management, the Department of Technology Engineering Management and the Department of Information Engineering, combined with the school's digital content creation degree program, and the design aesthetics of the Department of Media Design Science and Technology to develop digital media.
