The Department of Information Management
- Established in 1993, one of the four founding academic departments of CJCU.
- Master Program initiated in 2003.
- Co-established the College of Information and Technology in 2005.
- The college was renamed as Colleges of Information and Design in 2016, and restructured with new departments and programs including:
- Department of Information management,
- Department of Engineering & Management of Advanced Technology (founded in 2002),
- Department of Science & Information Engineering (founded in 2005),
- Department of Digital Content Creation,
- Department of Innovative and Interactive Design,
- Intelligent life program,
- Unmanned Vehicles program, and
- Master program of Information and Design.
- The department now focuses on one undergraduate program while facilitating the college in research and teaching.
- The department is accredited by the Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan (IEET) as is the rest of the college.
- Students enrolled in our programs are expected to learn the fundamentals of information management and be capable of handling related works in a typical business setting after graduation.
