2. Course Description:

This course is designed to help students approach to the major principles of management across cultural and national boundaries. It provides a key grounding in the nature of management in the global context by increasing awareness and understanding of the soft skills in international management, particularly those relating to cross-cultural management and business communication. The meaning of culture is explored by drawing on a concise overview of cross-cultural concepts combined with learning-by-doing activities, then the course will offer a broad view of current thinking on culture linked to management, organization and communication.

This plan is the overall company road map for selecting a particular target market and then satisfying consumers in that segment.

2. Course Description:

This course introduces the Arduino microcontroller through hands-on work in the lab creating simple machines with embodied behaviors. The Arduino bridges resource for physical projects for students in all disciplines. This course brings students over the beginner’s threshold to a basic understanding of the use, terminology, and potential of the Arduino. The first portion will bring essential knowledge for creating a simple LED control system and a sensor-driven reacting system, and the second portion will combine those skills and make a simple interactive project.

Information Technology with Practice

1. Lecturer：賴信志副教授(Dr. LAI, Hsin-Chih) 、蕭鉢副教授(Dr. Hsiao, BO)

2. Course Description:

This course helps students understand technical concepts underlying current and future development in information technology. There will be a special emphasis on ecological and environmental fields in practices. As result, this course is divided into three parts, and the first two parts are organized by two instructors who are specialized in that specific topic(s). The first part is to introduce the concept of comprehensive technology management, and to conduct some climate change or environment issues. The second part is to use handy and current IT tools to collect environment-related data, generating maps, and inform potential impacts. The last part is to arrange a local tour for better understanding to the practice of Information Technology.
