113-2 Living Bursary for Disadvantaged Overseas Students
The relevant application conditions and precautions are as follows:
1. Qualification conditions: Students who are overseas students studying in our school have passing grades (freshmen are exempt from the first semester) and meet any of the following qualifications.
(1) Students holding a cold certificate issued by the local government for the current year.
(2) When applying for admission, the student’s home country is a Least Developed Countries defined by the United Nations.
(3) Those who hold a disability certificate (identification card) issued by the local government. .
(4) Other special circumstances.
Note: The academic performance in the previous semester must be qualified (60 points (inclusive) or above for the undergraduate program, 70 points (inclusive) or above for the master's class); 75 points (inclusive) or above for the conduct and no demerits or above.
2.Application time: February 5, 2025 (Wednesday) to February 21, 2025 (Friday).
3.Living stipend payment standard: A living stipend of NT$4,500 per student per month will be issued. The sponsoring unit may flexibly adjust the number of months of payment depending on the number of applicants.
4. Submission method: Prepare the relevant information by yourself, submit the application in A4 format with the attached documents, bind them in order, and send them to Ms. Li, the Extracurricular Section on the first floor of the Student Activity Center, for application. Overdue applications or incomplete documents will not be accepted. (Students please do not delay and apply as early as possible to prevent incomplete or incorrect information from affecting your rights)
5. Service-learning hours: Students who receive "living stipend" must participate in service-learning activities, no more than 8 hours per person per week, 30 hours per month.
6. Review procedures: Students who wish to apply for living stipends will be reviewed by the sponsoring unit.
7. Announcement of the personnel roster for admission and distribution of living stipends: It is expected to be announced on the extracurricular group website at 10 a.m. on March 14, 2025 (Friday).
8. Admitted students are required to report to the assigned units on their own: March 17-21, 2025.
9. If admitted students are unable to complete the hours due to personal academic factors or retire, please contact Ms. Li of the extracurricular team before March 21, 2025 (Friday) to adjust or give up service hours.
10. Applicants must confirm in advance whether they have a post office or bank account with the cashier's department. If you do not have a post office or bank account, please go to the cashier's department to establish an account as soon as possible for later remittance.
