Precautions for domestic off-campus internships
1. Internship application

Students who want to apply for domestic off-campus internships should fill in the online application form for domestic off-campus internships within the time specified below (cannot apply during deadlines): click here

Within one week after the internship is submitted, please pay attention to the internship application approval/disapproval notification email, fill in the information according to the email content, and pay attention to the time of submitting the contract and uploading the parent consent letter.

- The internship application submitted by the students is determined by the internship committee whether the internship is approved by the department. The internship unit approved by the internship committee should have two requirements:
A. It is an internship unit of tourism or catering type. The internship units of the catering category include four major supermarkets (7-11, Family Mart, Lairfu, OK). If it is not a tourist or catering type, students need to explain the relevance of the internship content and the course of the department;

2. Student internship group insurance

Interns are required to purchase student internship group insurance. Those who fail to submit the internship group insurance information or pay the insurance premiums within the time limit are not allowed to intern.

The amount of insurance premiums paid for internship group insurance depends on the contract content of the contract of the successful bidder of the “College and College Student Internship Insurance” issued by the Ministry of Education.
3. Internship contract

The internship contract should be handed in before the internship. The contract should be Pay in personin person and cannot be entrusted to others.

Those who pay late or fail to pay the internship contract will not be recognized for internship.

4. Parental consent
The parental consent form should be submitted before the internship, and the latest date for submitting the parental consent form is five days before the start of the internship. Open to download and upload parental consent forms. Click here to download and upload the parental consent form
5. Internship optional
The internship courses for students of this department who entered 106 were changed to electives, which are other elective courses. After the internship course is changed to elective, the total graduation credits of 128 credits remain unchanged, the credits of compulsory courses of the department will be reduced by 2 credits, and other electives will be increased by 2 credits.
6. Internship courses, credits and the upper and lower limits of internship hours
The department's internship credits and the upper and lower limits of internship hours are in accordance with the Ministry of Education (Taiwan Education Gaotongzi Letter No. 1080040122 of the Ministry of Education).

7. Exceeding the upper limit of internship hours
The internship shall not be lower or higher than the upper and lower limits of the internship hours. If the maximum number of internship hours is exceeded, and the student wants to work in the original internship unit, the student and the employer will make another contract, but it is not within the scope of the internship.
8. Internship results

Interns need to choose internship courses in the course selection system according to the school's course selection time. Those who do not choose courses will not be given grades.

The results are calculated as 50% of the evaluation results given by the intern manufacturer, 25% of the written report of the internship, 25% of the results of the internship presentation, and 60 points as a pass.
9. Change internship vendors

After the internship, the intern vendor can only be changed with the approval of the intern committee

Whether the original internship hours are recognized or not is determined by the internship committee.
10. Internship and Labor Standards Law
The interns and the intern vendors are not labor-employment relationships, and are not fully applicable to the Labor Standards Law, but the working hours, official holidays and rest days of the intern must comply with the Labor Standards Law.
