With the aging trend in Taiwan, the demand for long-term and health care professionals continues to increase, coupled with the government’s long-term policy and social ageing trends.The body, mind, and spirit of the silver-haired and disabled communities are valued.
This program willcultivate professionals in the fields of "social work" and "health care." combined with the interests of students, we will cultivatolong-term care professionals with knowledge of medical society and health care professionals, institutional management and policy planning.
Students who are interested in services in social institutions, curriculum modules provided, or programs in the Department of Health Care, Department of Pharmaceutical Science and Industrial Science, or the Department of Double Majors, will enable students to enter professional areas of health care services and double their personal majors. This course is based on the philosophy of both theory and practice. It will urge students to obtain certificates of social work professional such as, caregivers and supervisor so as to enhance their future workplace competitiveness.
The establishment of this Bachelor degree program is combined with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science and Industrial and faculty members of other department through medical institutions, nursing practice units,government agencies, social bureaus, civil welfare groups, and medical institutions. Collaborations with practice agencies such as offices, community development centers establish research directions for basic and practical development, promote cooperation between industry and education in social work and health care, give students multiple learning environments and internship opportunities, and give back to society to provide excellent services.
