CJCU International Students’ Spring Roll Making Experience to Celebrate Tomb Sweeping Festival

To allow international students to get to know Taiwanese culture better,the Chinese Language & Culture Center (CLCC) of Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU) organized an spring roll making activity at Global Plaza before the eve of Tomb Sweeping Festival to introduce the Festival, learn how to make spring rolls,and get to know Chinese food ingredients used on the special occasion. Introduced by Chinese language teachers, students learned solar terms, the origin and meaning of the Festival, and how to use necessary ingredients to make spring rolls.Meanwhile, international students were requested to say ingredients in Chinese in the fun and exciting challenge game before making their own spring rolls. The event was a big success.
