Japanese Students’ Chinese Learning Experience: Getting to Know Taiwanese Culture and Facilitating International Friendship
The Chinese Language & Culture Center of Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU)organized the two-week Chinese language and cultural experiential courses for 12 Japanese students in August by introducing them Taiwanese culture and Chinese ink painting and visiting important historical landmarks including Tainan Grand Mazu Temple, Chikan Tower, and Confucius Temple. Cultural experiential courses such as
“Pottery Making of Anping Sword Lion” and “Basic Chinese Martial Art” were also offered. They even had cultural exchanges with school children in Chinese to enhance their Chinese proficiencies.
