“Transnational Partnership for Gung Ho and Sustainability” — CJCU USR Team’s 2025 Field Project in Africa
The Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU) USR team, under the “Roots &Shoots for Green Community Project: From Local to Global,” went on a two-week field project and international exchange tour in Tanzania between August 9 and 21, 2025. In collaboration with the Jane Goodall Institute and the Roots & Shoots Office, the team co-organized four “Care Projects,” two sessions of “Keyhole Garden” activities, and one of “Youth Action Workshop”through “Taiwan Experience – Africa Practice.”
Apart from the workshops, the team also visited Gombe National Park in Kigoma where Dr. Jane Goodall conducted her chimpanzee research.
