International Graduate Students at the College of Management Bond Over Pizza as Cross-Cultural Ties Grow in Taiwan
The College of Management recently gathered its international Master’s and PhD students for a lively pizza social, offering classmates and their families from around the world a warm, relaxed way to close out the semester. The room buzzed with laughter, conversation, and easy cultural exchange.
Dean Lin Chieh-Yu and Associate Dean Hsu Wen-Hua joined the event, praising the students for their commitment to studying far from home and encouraging them as they continue to settle into life in Taiwan. Both emphasized the importance of ensuring that international students feel supported, both on campus and in the broader community.
Dean Lin highlighted the energy and diversity that international students bring to the university. He noted that gatherings like this help newcomers make friends, share experiences, and feel a sense of belonging. His hope, he added, is that every student who comes to Taiwan will not only experience academic growth but also find a warm and supportive network throughout their journey.
