:::

領獎合影The Synergy Scholar team, comprising three international students from the MBA program of the College of Management, received an Honorable Mention at the 2025 15th National College Competition in Business Ethics Case Analysis and Microfilm. The event was held on December 5 at National Taipei University and featured more than one hundred competing teams from business schools across Taiwan.

Synergy Scholar advanced to the top nine finalists and impressed judges with their comprehensive ethical analysis and cross-cultural perspectives. Team members include Analee Nicki Chuc (Belize), Leonard Yuba Athumani (Tanzania), and Sindisiwe Tsidie Muntu Shongwe (Eswatini). This year, CJCU fielded two teams, both composed entirely of international MBA students, highlighting the strength of the school’s global learning environment. The second team, Team TV, also performed strongly and ranked third on the finalist waiting list.

The team advisor, Professor Yi-Hui Ho, noted that both teams showed exceptional dedication throughout their preparation, from research and translation to case structuring and presentation, fully reflecting graduate-level professional standards. In the finals, Synergy Scholar stood out as the only team composed entirely of international students and the only team presenting in English. Their fluent delivery and clear articulation of analytical viewpoints showed the students’ linguistic strengths and insights.

Dean Chieh-Yu Lin of the College of Management remarked that the international students’ strong performance in this national competition demonstrates the fruitful results of the College’s continuous efforts to promote internationalized education and a cross-cultural learning environment. He emphasized that the professionalism, teamwork, and global perspective demonstrated by the students are exactly the core competencies the College seeks to cultivate. Associate Dean and Executive Director Wen-Hua Hsu also praised the students’ achievements, noting that both teams maintained confidence and delivered excellent performances despite the highly competitive environment. He stated that their accomplishments reflect the College’s educational commitment to nurturing critical thinking, ethical judgment, and practical application skills. He encouraged students to apply the insights gained through the competition to their coursework and future professional endeavors, thereby continuing to deepen their management expertise.

CJCU will continue to promote internationalized curricula and encourage student participation in practical competitions, fostering global perspectives in management education. The outstanding achievements of Synergy Scholar and Team TV not only highlight the strength of the CJCU’s business education but also shine a spotlight on the accomplishments of its international students on the national stage.
