Taiwanese Director Lin Chien-Ping Serves as Jury Member at International Film Festivals Little Yellow Flower Wins 50+ Awards Across Five Continents
Lin Chien-Ping, a film director and faculty member of the Department of Mass Communication at Chang Jung Christian University, was invited in 2025 to serve as a jury member (Short Narrative Jury) at the Bushwick Film Festival in New York. He has also been invited six times between 2019 and 2025 to serve as an international jury member at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in Singapore, demonstrating sustained engagement in the international film evaluation landscape.
Since its completion in 2022, his film Little Yellow Flower has garnered more than 50 international awards (currently 56) across five continents, reflecting strong cross-cultural resonance and a consistent artistic vision.
His earlier work Small Station received the top prize in the short film category at the Venice International Film Festival, and has been permanently archived by the following academic institutions:

• University of Washington East Asia Library (USA)
This archival recognition reflects the film’s established academic value and its acknowledgment within international scholarly systems.
Lin’s work is characterized by a poetic cinematic language, emphasizing the integration of light, space, time, and sound. Through minimal dialogue and carefully structured visual rhythm, Little Yellow Flower creates an emotionally resonant experience across diverse cultural audiences. He also works as a screenwriter, producer, and cinematographer.
