Mission

        In order to cope with rapid changes in real estate and financial markets and the trend toward the globalization of financial markets after joining the WTO, this program is designed to integrate real estate and financial fields and also address the cooperation to real estate and financial businesses.  Students in this major are trained to be real estate professionals with financial specialization. 

Characteristics

1.      Interdisciplinary integration of real estate and finance:

• To cultivate students to be real estate professionals with financial specialization, several major courses are developed to join in instructors with multi-specialties including the introduction to real estate finance, real estate investment, real estate finance, international real estate investment.

2.      Cooperation to real estate and financial businesses:

• Students are encouraged to apply internships to real estate and financial related industries.  Professionals and experts are invited to courses to shares experiences with students

Career Opportunities

1.      Further studies

• The graduates from REF may apply for post-graduate programs in real estate and financial related fields including Land Economics, Real Estate and Built Environment, Land Management and Development, Real Estate Management and various financial post-graduate institutions in Taiwan and also in many other countries.

2.      Job opportunities

• Public sector: graduates from REF may find positions in land administration and finance organizations in the central government and local governments.
• Private sector: graduates from REF may apply to real estate development companies, realtors, land registration agency, real estate appraisal companies, banks and financial institutions.
