According to a new study from University of Oxford, about 47% of existing jobs will be replaced by automation in the next 20 years."In order to enhance the international competitiveness of Taiwan’s industries, the government has vigorously promoted policies such as Smart Taiwan and ASVDA, hoping to promote industrial upgrading and people’s lives through the advancement of smart and automated technologies. In response to the needs of talented people in the artificial intelligence era, Chang Jung Christian University established the "Bachelor's Degree Program of Smart Life Application" in the 106 academic year. The education goal of program is to "cultivate professional talents who have the ability to design and plan for creative life situations and integrate the use of artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technologies to realize the vision of a smart life." A：The program is divided into three modules: Artificial intelligence development and practical modules, IoT integration and application of practical modules and creative life design integration module.

• The artificial intelligence development practical module includes "dynamic web programming," "software engineering," "mobile device programming II," "creative robot design topics," "algorithm," "artificial intelligence and machine learning," "cloud computing introduction," and "game development special topics." A：The total number of credits for this department is 128 credits (76 compulsory/required credits and 52 credits for elective). A：School of Information and Design builds an IDT Life Lab next to the Student Activity Center, including a District Smart Life Exhibition Area. The program builds a networked application experience area and a smart home appliance experience area so that students can conduct research and development in the laboratory and display the results of research and development in this area.
