Professor Chang Chi-Chao of Chang Jung Christian University applied the patented "Chip Device" to obtain a bronze medal award in the invention contest of the 2014 TAIPEI INT'L INVENTION SHOW & TECHNOMART. Mr. Chang Chi-Chao said that this was the first time that the exhibitors had applied for this patent three years ago. Until last year, they obtained US and Taiwan patents. This time winning the award was an affirmation to him. He was also invited to participate in the 2015 Concours Lépine.
Mr. Chang Chi-Chao said that the award-winning patented “chip device” is the most compact switch for the RFID proximity cards that are common in daily life. Disconnect the card circuit and use the conductive properties of the human skin as the switch. The device also provides a device that can limit the chip card reading function, has excellent operating convenience and manufacturing cost advantages, and can be used for personal privacy protection, earthquake fault monitoring and other purposes.

There is usually a lot of green space on campus. In addition to the greening environment, the green space also has the significance of ecological education. However, campus green space is often not well managed because of insufficient manpower and time, so that the green space will have weeds and mosquitoes. Therefore, we propose the "智慧校園小農" project. The plan is to develop a system that uses the Internet of Things and data analysis in response to the campus's open space or green space.Afterwards, the green space in the open space is open for students to adopt and plant, and the students can use the Internet of Things technology to carry out intelligent green space management. Students can then easily experience the actual farming process.
Through the Internet of Things, various subsystems in the daily life environment can be combined, including lighting, television and various household appliances. Users can control via the Internet or wifi and can implement detailed controls including light and shade and TV channel switching.
