The 1st Taiwan Yunus Social Business Innovation Award
Eligibility
1. Age 18 to 40 without nationality limitation.
2. Yunus Award is a team-based competition. Each team should consist of 1-5 members and one should act as the contact window. Each person could only attend one team.
3. Exclusion criteria: participants will be excluded if
(1) One member joins more than 1 team
(2) Proposed business plan has been already implemented.
(3) Provides or uses false information.
(4) Any member is a relative of the organizer’s employees.
Important Dates
1. Application deadline: 2021/07/30 ( Friday)
2. Preliminary results announcement: 2021/08/06 (Friday) on the official website
3. Semifinal contest dates and places: 2021/08/28 (Saturday ), will be held online
4. Announcement of finalists: 2021/08/31 (Tuesday)
5. Mentoring support/consultation: 2021/09/06 ( Monday ) ~ 2021/09/26 (Sunday)
6. Submission of detailed plans by finalists: 2021/10/01 (Friday)
7. Announcement of the finalist's date and place: 2021/10/16 (Saturday) or 2021/10/17 (Sunday) (tentative)
Competition Rounds & Review Criteria
1. Please submit and mail out your proposal in hardcopy (application form, publicity rights license agreement, personal information protection notification, in accordance with all forms in annex 1-5, ) to the following address: (postmarked on July 30th is acceptable)

Prizes
1. First prize: NTD150,000 and a certificate of merit, Trophy (1 team)
2. Second prize: NTD80,000 and a certificate of merit, Trophy (1 team)
3. Third prize: NTD50,000, and a certificate of merit, Trophy (1 team)
4. Outstanding prize: NTD25,000and a certificate of merit (2 teams)
5. Merit prize: NTD10,000, and a certificate of merit (2 teams)
*The finalists ( a total of 7 prize winners) will be eligible to apply for Yunus Youth incubator training program. Approved applicants will receive funding ranged from $500,000 to 2million NT dollars.
YSBC Special Bonus
The organizer will provide an additional tutoring fee to participate team's teacher or advisor.
Only the team is from one of 11 YSBCs that are co-organized can get the special bonus.
Each team has NTD$5,000 bonus and the maximum are 5 teams per school.
For each team, there is only 1 teacher/adviser can earn the bonus.
