Cultivate Ethics and Social Responsibility, Sow the Seeds that Sprouts In the Hearts

In order to promote university social responsibility, the series "Yunus Social Responsibility Lecture", sponsored by CJCU’s Management school and Yunus Social Business Center, began on September 27, 2018. In the first lecture, Director 邱韻璇of Friendly Seed Company was invited to share the concept and operation of environmental education and social business management, and the development and obstacles of environmental education at home and abroad.

This activity was planned by assistant professor 林千琪of CJCU’s Department of Tourism, Food ＆ Beverage. In particular, she invited Friendly Seed Company to share the social business operation model. The company is a social business with professional environmental education services, and practice of environmental education through outdoor environmental experience. The company is dedicated to the sustainability of society and the environment.

Professor 林傑毓, dean of the Management School, pointed out that CJCU is promoting the environmental education by actively promoting the environmental transformation of the school and Community environmental education. The lectures will enable the teachers and practitioners to conduct industrial ideas exchanges and discussions. They can get more experience of environmental education promotion and social business practices.
