Student Association
Following the tradition of many years, various activities will be held at each session to enable students of the department of translation and interpreting to have a vibrant student life during their four years at university.
The first large scale activity is the orientation camp held at the start of each new academic year, the orientation camp led by senior students is a welcoming activity filled with games and fun to allow the freshmen to be familiar with each other and to meet new friends, the students will also realize that apart from learning from books there is plenty of opportunities to become an adept in arranging activities.
The first activity after the winter vacation is the foreign language cup. This is a national competition organized by the department of translation and interpretation studies. Through this, we can carry on the friendship exchange with the foreign language-related departments of colleges and universities all over the country. The next activity is the annual drama of the translation department. Unlike other foreign-language department dramas, our performances are performed by freshmen and sophomores groups using Japanese, German, Spanish, French, languages, the top three groups are selected by audience votes and professional judges.
During these four years in the Department of Translation and Interpretation Studies, our students will not only study and learn from attending courses but will also be participating in various activities in their leisure time that will enrich their university life and practical experience.
