Gather the characteristics of the seven countries’ festivals, the International Day showcases different religions and cultures
The International Day of Chang Jung Christian University debuted on May 11. This event gathered special festivals from seven different countries, including: Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, African countries (Burundi and Tanzania), and Taiwan. The replacement of activities to add a strong festive atmosphere, but also specially matched with the Muslim "Eid al-Fitr" to let more students understand different religious beliefs and cultures.
The students at the Malaysian booth not only produced festival posters and detailed festival introductions, but also provided videos to let all participants know the festival better. In addition to introducing festivals, the "Parents' Day" at the Korean booth also allows teachers and students to learn Korean when performing activities. In addition to introducing "Children's Day", the Japanese booth also used to learn about Japanese traditional games, so that everyone can enjoy the atmosphere of Japanese festivals even in Taiwan.
In addition to sharing special food and drinks, various countries also prepare local special mini games to interact with teachers and students. It is hoped that during the recent tight epidemic prevention period, foreign students can explain them on campus.
The president Li Yung-Lung said that the school is constantly moving towards internationalization, so the number of international students on the campus is increasing. There are a total of seven different booths on the International Day this year. It is hoped that through the festival introduction and game experience of each booth, the students' international outlook and Cultural cognition also promotes international cultural exchanges. It is also hoped that in the era of globalization, the students will have a great future.
