Bible Path
Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU), established to adhere to the historical traditions and cultural characteristics of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, devotes itself to whole-person education. Hereby, through the "Christmas decoration project of main light steel sculpture design" of the biblical story, we convey and reveal the spirit of Jesus Christ's salvation and love. The designs of the four steel sculptures were all solicited from students. Prof. Chen Chien-Bang and Prof. Wang Hsien-Chang (CJCU faculty) assisted in optimizing the design drafts of the winning design drafts of students, and commissioned CHIH KANG Material Company Ltd to build and produce them. Thanks to Prof. Kuo Chih-Hua, the Chairman of CHIH KANG Material Company Ltd, for donating the production fees for three of the steel sculptures.

The birth of Jesus was in accordance with the prophecies of ancient Hebrew civilization, which promised that a baby would be born in a manger in the city of David in Bethlehem, the only begotten Son of God, the Savior Jesus Christ. He was born humble, lying in a manger, witnessing the fulfillment of prophecies, preaching the good news of saving all peoples in the world, symbolizing God's love without distinction, regardless of high or low, regardless of ethnic group, realizing the peace and joy brought by God's reconciliation with mankind. |

| God prophesied through the prophet Isaiah that there would be a servant who would suffer and die for everyone, bearing the sins of the world so that people could be reconciled to God. The cross was originally an instrument of death and a sign of shame. When Jesus was crucified on the cross, the cross was re-given the supreme meaning of sacrificing life for love. The passion of Jesus interprets the salvation of mankind from the sufferings of the world and brings peace, healing and hope of eternal life. |

It shows that old things have passed away and everything has become new, pointing to the new heaven and new earth created by God, bringing new life and lively hope to the world. |
