Attendance, Absent Request, and Make-up Classes for the 1-on-1 Class

(Online Course Included)

I. Class Attendance出席

1.  The length of each learning unit is 50 minutes.
2. Please be on time for class. No make-up for late arrivals.
3. For the online course, both student and teacher should log in to the virtual classroom 5 minutes before the class starts to make sure the equipment and internet connection can function well.

II. Class Leave請假

1. For personal leave, please notify the teacher and the CLCC office at least 3 days in advance and obtain approval.
2. If the student is sick or encounters a major accident on that day before the class, please notify the teacher or CLCC office by text messages, email, or phone calls.
3. The class will be terminated if when the student is no-show and no notice is sent to the teacher from the student within 30 minutes after the class starts.

III. Make-up or Deferred Class補課或延期

1. The make-up class will be offered if a delay is caused by the CLCC. 
2. For a personal leave, the student can choose to make up or defer the class.
   • ​​​​The make-up class should be completed within one week after the originally scheduled class. 
   • Those who choose to defer should complete the make-up course within two months after the course term ends. Failure to complete will be regarded as abandonment and no fee will be returned.
   • The date for the make-up class should be mutually agreed by the teacher and the student. The arrangement should not be limited to the original class sessions or teacher.
3. Late for class or absences without leave approval will not be allowed to apply for a make-up or deferred class.

IV. Class-Recorded Videos (online course only) 課程錄影

1. The link of class-recorded videos is offered in the CJCU i-learning Cloud Class that is accessible during the term.
2. It will remain open for two weeks after the term ends. After that, the assessability will be closed.

V. CLCC reserves the right to approve any leave of the class and to offer make-up classes.
