College of Health Sciences
In 2002, Chang Jung Christian College of Management was upgraded to Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU). During that time, the College of Health Sciences was prepared and led under the former Dean and superintendent of the Changhua Christian Hospital, Dr. Hwang Chiau-Seng. The baton was then passed to Dr. Lin Ching-Yuan and Dr. Chang Weng-Cheng. Since 2014, Dr. Cheng Hong-I has been
serving as the Dean. The College has undergone various changes in their academic system. Currently, it encompasses one independent graduate institute (the Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences), two graduate institute departments ( the Department of Health Care Administration, and the Department of Nursing), four health departments (the Department of Bioscience Techology, the Department of Health Psychology, the Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences, and the Department of Medical Sciences Industry), and two BA programs (Medical Sociology and Health Care, and Orchid Industry Application). The educational goals of the College are to “educate students holistically based on the core of healthy and professional ethics, as well as to cultivate a high standard of talent with technological and humanitarian skills to care for the health of humans.”
