中心介紹
長榮大學社會力研究發展中心成立於2005年4月，致力於各種當代社會議題之服務、研究與教學。以大學為基地，本中心自我期許為台灣社會培力實踐與論述的積極參與者，有助於台灣公民社會的茁壯，並促進大學、政府、民間組織和企業間之合作共同謀求社會福祉。
服務內容
- 研究發展：執行各項與社會發展與培力議題之研究計畫。
- 方案服務與諮詢：與中央部會、各縣市政府、實務界合作，發展各項社區與社會服務方案，並提供諮詢服務。
- 翻譯與出版：編譯及出版社會發展與培力相關書籍。
- 教育與交流：與國內外之相關單位合作辦理各項社會服務、發展與培力相關之研習訓練與研討會。
The Center for Social Empowerment, Taiwan (COSET) was founded in April 2005, and is dedicated to services, research and education concerning contemporary social issues.
COSET, located in and supported by Chang Jung Christian University, is committed to active dialog and the practice of community and social empowerment in Taiwan. It also has the mission of facilitating the progress of civil society and forming a University-Government-Organization-Entrepreneur network that serves the common good in Taiwan.
Services
- Research and Development: conducting research projects related to social development and empowerment.
- Solution and Consultancy: providing solutions and consultancy for community development and human services agencies through collaboration with professional organizations, and the public sector on both the national and local level.
- Translation and Publication: editing and publishing publications on the subjects of social development and empowerment.
- Training Program: providing a variety of training programs or symposiums through international/domestic collaboration.
