Outstanding Performance Scholarship
1. Target group:
- Awards and certificate are given to students enrolled in the current semester (excluding dropouts, doctoral students, delay graduated students);
- Awards are not given to seniors in final semester but the certificate can be applied before the 6th week of the semester which the certificate is to be given out.
2. Eligibility requirements:
- The applicant should be ranked in the top 3 of the class in the previous semester, passed all subjects, has attained a minimum score of 80 and had conduct grade higher than 80, and had no record of disciplinary actions.
- Applicant who fails to meet the above conditions will not be considered as a recipient of the scholarship.
3. Review process:
- a. At the begining of each semester, the list of all the top 3 students from each class in the previous semester will be summitted by the Office of Academic Affairs to the Office of Student Affairs for review.
- b. The approved list of scholarship recipients will then be submitted by the Office of Student Affairs to the President.
- c. The scholarship awards will be directly remitted into the bank account of each recipient.
- d. Certificates could be claimed at each department office.
4. Award:
- 1st position: NTD 3,000 & a certificate of merit;
- 2nd position: NTD 2,000 & a certificate of merit;
- 3rd position: NTD 1,000 & a certificate of merit.
The number of scholarships to be awarded per year is flexible and is adjusted according to the university’s budget.
