Audio-Visual Area

The Library provides single seat, couple seat, and multimedia room(3-12 people; 12-60 people). Single seat and couple seat are not open for reservation. Staffs who worked at Circulation Desk  on 5th floor will arrange patrons' media resources borrowing and seating. If more than three people, patrons can book a multimedia room online. 

Opening Hours

Regular Semester: Monday ~ Friday 8am - 8:30pm

Summer/Winter Break: Monday ~ Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Eligible User 

• Patrons with a valid library card may utilize the Audio-Visual Area.

• Patrons without a valid library card, the services are provided on a NT $50 fee-based and the use duration is 4 hours for each person.

Borrowing and Returning

• Audio-visual materials for home use is for check out only.

• Materials with public performance rights could be checked out for teaching purpose. Each faculty could borrow up to 3 items for 3 days. There is no renew and no reserve are allowed.

• An overdue fine of NT$5 per item per day will be charged for the late return.

• DO NOT put audio-visual materials into the "Book Drop", please return them at Circulation Desk on 1th floor.

• Patrons must comply with regulations of Audio-Visual Area in all respects.

• The Audio-Visual Area allows viewing of materials with public performance rights only, violators are subjected to suspension.

• Replicating or transcribing any media resources are prohibited.

Important Notes

• Materials of the Audio-Visual Area collection may be used on-site in the area only. Unauthorized download and copy are "Forbidden".

• It is prohibited to use Audio-Visual Area's equipment for the non-Audio-Visual Area items.

• Violators against the regulations are subjected to suspension, if damages are made (e.g. breaking any materials), compensation responsibilities will be held. 

• Patrons must comply with the copyright laws. If patrons break copyright laws, they have to take all the responsibility for doing that.
