防疫相關常見問題 Q&A COVID FAQ

Q1. Can I come to Taiwan to learn Chinese now?

A1. Not yet. The border has ONLY accepted the students with specially approved by MoE and the (HES) scholarship awardees. There is a certain procedure to follow for the entry process. Please contact CLCC to follow the step under the instruction.

Q2. How do I get to the quarantine hotel after I arrive? Is there somebody to pick me up at the airport?

A2. Yes. CLCC will pick you up at the exit of the airport. Please open your phone and keep the contact with us once your flight landing. We will assist you to take the epidemic-controlled taxi to the quarantine hotel.

Q3. There should be 14 days of hotel quarantine by the request, but why do you ask me to book 21 days of stay?

A3. There are 14 days of isolated quarantine and 7 days of self-health management. The students are still not allowed to get into the campus during the time of self-health management.

If you will stay at the school dormitory, we will suggest you book 21 days of quarantine hotel.

If you have off-campus accommodation, you could choose to do the self-health management in your own place. However, it is also necessary to comply with the regulations and report the health status truthfully every day.

Q4. Can I decide on my own quarantine hotel?

A4. No. According to the rule of the Tainan City government, the quarantine hotel should be assigned by the Public Health Burea of Tainan.

We will suggest you have the quarantine at Tainan so that CLCC could support the needs if there is any during your quarantine.

Q5. How much is the fee of a quarantined hotel?

It is about NT$1,800~NT$4,000元 (3 meals included).
