Educational Objectives
The aim of our department is to provide students a philosophical education that they can then use for social involvement. Classes are thus designed in an interdisciplinary manner, giving students a solid philosophical education that helps them find what they can give back to the community at large. Our graduates are then able to find employment in any number of fields, using optimal analytical skills to communicate effectively and resolve problems.
Our department takes a philosophical education as well as an ethical concern for life as a basis. As we aim to help students cultivate skills that enable them to contribute to cultural enterprises or governmental agencies, our educational objectives are as follows:
1.Providing students with a basis in philosophy as well as social concern and involvement.
2.Help students cultivate the ability to read philosophical texts and then integrate and utilize their knowledge, especially when it comes to understanding and aiding local cultures.
3.Encourage students to lay a solid basis in philosophical knowledge as well as ethical and spiritual values in order to be well prepared for involvement in social and public affairs.
Graduate School: Students are provided a basic philosophical education that can be used as a springboard for graduate studies in philosophy or other humanities either domestically or abroad.
Employment: Employment opportunities for graduates include publishing houses, media, cultural organization administrators, healthcare facility counselors, civil service, news analysts, and legislative assistants among others.
