Undergraduates
Undergraduate students must complete 128 credits before graduating, upon graduation the student will be awarded a bachelor's degree diploma. Courses include:
Common Compulsory Courses
Chinese, English, Foreign language primary level, The Spirit of CJCU, Service-Learning, Experiential learning, Physical Education.
General Education Courses
Music appreciation and general knowledge courses. At least one course in each category is required.
Compulsory Course
English conversation and audio-visual, English grammar and writing, general translation, general Consecutive interpretation, professional accompanying interpretation, professional briefing, computer and translation, graduation internship topics, etc.
Professional Module Courses
The department is currently divided into tourism, business, science and technology, journalism and other modules, and students are required to complete two modules before reaching the graduation threshold. Each module includes specialized courses (background knowledge courses), language courses (listening or writing courses), and translation courses (visual translation, written translation and Consecutive interpretation). For each module, please refer to the module used in the year of enrollment.
Second language course
The department offers our students four language choices, Japanese, German, French, and Spanish.
