Beauty of Indigenous Cultural Art

Structured with the target values of "art, humanity, life, creativity, learning, devotion, care" & expected to be a space of multicultural human art exchange for youths from domestic & foreign.

The indigenous ethnic group and human art are continuous histories and developing thread of thought. The indigenous museum of CJCU combines the imagery of mountain & coastal ecology, humanity history, modern & tradition and devotion & cherishing, in order to promote a multicutural featured campus.

  • 2016/09/18 - Completion of Indigenous Museum Establishment
  • 2016/11/16 - Indigenous Museum Unveiling Ceremony

          Indigenous Museum

          Establishment completed in September 2016, all planned by the team of Etan Pavavalong, the Paiwan artist from Sandimen Township in Pingtung County.

Artifact Display Area

Display of indigenous costumes, ceramics, handmade bags and other related indigenous cultural products. All of the aboves are supported by related units on/off-campus.

Creative Paintings Display Area

The originally white-in-color steel shelf gives another special sensation after being painted some decorative patterns on it by the indigenous students. It is used to display student paintings & exhibits.

Outdoor Installation Artwork

Lily symbolized gentility in the early indigenous society. The iron Lilies are located outside the museum, symbolizing blossom and blessing.
