《Extended Information》Professional practice competency review
Full-time undergraduate program students enrolled since the 2015 academic year are required to choose at least one professional practice project in accordance with the educational goals and core competencies of their respective college. Their graduation threshold is set according to ability assessment criteria and the guidance mechanism established for students who have yet to fulfill their departmental graduation threshold before graduation. Students are required to pass the professional practice ability assessment of their respective department (program) before graduation in order to be eligible for graduation.
The customized professional practice ability assessments of the various departments (programs) may generally be divided into the following nine types:
1. Corporate Internship: Participate in and pass an internship course.
2. Practice seminars: Conduct practice seminars on topics/ projects/ cases, and publicly present the results of the practice seminars either individually or as a group.
3. Competition: Participate in regional/ national/International competitions and win one honorable mention or above.
4. Professional license: The type of professional license and the number of certifications are determined by departments (programs) according to the professional field.
5. Invention exhibition: Win one honorable mention or above in domestic or international invention exhibitions.
6. Patent: Obtain one domestic or foreign patent.
7. Exhibition/ Performance: Complete a public domestic or international exhibition/ performance.
8. Industry- academia cooperation: Complete one individual or group industry- academia cooperation project.
9. Practice course modules: Individually complete at least one set of practice course module.
