AIDS
AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is a disease cause by HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). It is infected through sexual behavior, blood or mother-to-child transmission. HIV will damage the immune system in human body and lower the resistance of the patient. People with damaged immune system become seriously ill with infections that most normal people can fight off. The worst result could be death.
The AIDS is a symdrome that a patient gets various diseases due to lowered resistance to disease.
The HIV is a virus which infects immune cells and damages immune system. It might cause some pathogens like bacteria, virus, mold and protozoa, which can be originally eliminated by immune system, to infect the patient and cause various diseases or immune-related cancers.
