The Characteristics of Bachelor Degree Program of Orchid Industry Application
The focus of the program is in two fields: orchid biotechnology and international marketing. We expect to equip students with international marketing know-how, cross-cultural competence, international mobility, and problem-solving ability. The students will become professionals in marketing and research & development in the orchid industry in Taiwan
Characteristics of the Program
1.Mobile Learning:
The program emphasizes on the experience sharing from experts. Through it, the program develops students’ orchid management, application, plantation competence and other orchid-related problem-solving ability. We nurture people with cross-cultural adaptability and international mobility.
2.Mobile Learning in a Foreign Country, Strengthening Students’ Global View:
(1).Freshmen attend classes by experts and industry leaders. The students will be taught the knowledge about orchid.
(2).Sophomores and juniors will do mobile learning in Taiwan. They will be arranged to learn in international orchid companies.
(3).In the last semester of junior year or senior year, students can choose to do international mobile learning. This will strengthen their global view and competence in the future job market.
Autonomous Learning：
Based on students’needs, they can choose classes in different disciplines to strengthen their ability and boost their competence in the future job market.
