International Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Eco-center

The Eco-center takes the concept of the University’s Christian spirit as its main driving force for development. Based on the principle of holistic education, the Center follows the practice of the Universities development strategy, gradually expanding its international perspective and striving to provide sustainable education for everyone, while affirming the dignity and value of all life. Committed to becoming a deep-rooted, international, and socially responsible university, the center also continues to promote environmental education in line with the principles of Jane Goodall’s institute roots and shoots program:

• Strengthening the respect and care for all life

• Promote an understanding of different cultures and beliefs. 

• Encourage people to take action to make the world a better place for animals, the environment and each other.

Our operation method is based on the Roots & Shoots spirit promoted by Dr. Jane Goodall “Change the environment through my own strength”. To develop root and shoot programs with a focus on young people and the promotion of environmental education. The objectives include:

• Take the initiative to understand the environment, care about the environment, and have a good interaction with the environment to achieve the goal of improving the environment.

• Take the initiative to care for all animals. 

• Strengthen the understanding of different cultures, economies, ethnicities, beliefs, and nations through the international network of Jane Goodall Institute. 

• Assist young people in developing self-confidence and self-esteem and build their hopes for the future.
