Weekly Meeting of 2018 Fall Semester – Good Emotions at the Beginning of Semester
The Counseling Center helped hold the meeting between advisors and students in the Academic Year 2018 at the basement of the second dormitory on October 29th. The Counseling Center invited the two psychologists, Jack and Candy. They performed songs reflecting different moods of every stage of life as well as vivid shows about emotional fluctuations to make Freshmen find a way to soothe their mood.
Jack and Candy sang songs for the Freshmen as a gift. During the period of losing love, it’s time to create a better self. They became street performers coincidentally. They shared the story of their life, travelled everywhere, and built a touching blueprint.
Students can overcome their hopeless mood by practicing talking to themselves and torturing themselves with pain that can almost tear their heart away. During the 4 years of university, students will be more intelligent than past and keep accepting true emotions after meeting many people and many things. Students don’t need to feel ashamed and humiliated because negative emotions can be turned into positive values.
At last, Jack and Candy hoped that students can do what they want to do while they’re still in the university, see what they have and lose as the complete self, and create the most balanced emotion with experiences.
