Club Activity Funding Application

Application time:2024.02.01~2024.02.29
The subsidy activities will be processed from 2024.03.18 to 2024.07.07 (if there are activities before 3/18 or after 7/7, please inform separately, otherwise no subsidy will be given)

  • Types of club event fund subsidies:
  1. Clubs participating in observation tours, workshop and other relevant activities;
  2. Clubs conducting featured activities of CJCU;
  3. Clubs conducting wrap-up presentations and other relevant activities;
  4. Intercollegiate and school-wide activities;
  5. School-wide artistic and cultural activities;
  6. Service-learning activities.

 

  • Conditions of receiving subsidies:
  1. Activities conducted must be in line with the purpose of the club establishment and are conducive to the development of the club or enhancement of the club members' skills.
  2. Participated in the club assessment in the previous academic year and got passing mark.

 

  • Subsidy standards: Based on the supplementary estimates of appropriations published by the Minister of Education and the school aid budgets, the subsidy is adjusted according to the activity contents, results and actual price, approved by the dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Chen, Shu-Lee.

 

  • In-house training: Club in-house training must be held on-campus. Each club is limited to one grant per academic year and the maximum per-person allowances is NT$300. The total maximum amount of subsidies for each club per academic year is NT$10,000.

 

  • No subsidy is granted if any of the following circumstances exist:
  1. Activities not targeted at all the students in CJCU; 
  2. Club regular gatherings or social events;
  3. Speech activities (approved activities are not subject to the limits);
  4. Other activities listed as security violated and immoral by the Office of Student Affairs.

 

  • Pre-event precautions:
  1. Event management is not allowed to be entrusted to travel agencies;
  2. Photocopies have to be indicated clearly ( and indicate the purpose, e.g., used for results report, used for file envelope, etc.);
  3. The funds can only be used after the activities are approved by the Office of Student Affairs. The verified receipts and the date must be confirmed at the office too.
  4. The fund subsidy is limited to all staffs and students of CJCU. No subsidy is granted for any off-campus.
