Overseas Chinese Medical Insurance

Overseas Chinese Medical Insurance

 

Insured Persons:All first-year new-entry overseas Chinese students and students from Hong Kong and Macau.

Insurance Enrollment Period:Within the first 6 months of qualifying for National Health Insurance.

Insurance Premium:580 NT dollars every 6 months (subsidized by the Overseas Community Affairs Council for half of the amount).

Enrollment Process:
1. Obtain the payment invoice at the Student Services Office.
2. Make the payment at the cashier's office within the specified deadline.

Claims Process:
1. If you get sick during the insurance coverage period and seek medical treatment, you must pay for your medical expenses.
2. Prepare the required documents and submit a claim application at the Student Services Office.

Required Documents for Claims:
1. Claims Application Form.
2. Original Medical Diagnosis Certificate (with the hospital's seal).
3. Original Medical Receipts (with the hospital's seal).
4. Copy of Residence Permit.
5. Copy of Bank Passbook.

Note: Both the Medical Diagnosis Certificate and Receipts must be in their original forms, and all documents are mandatory; missing any of them will result in the claim not being processed.
