Scholarships Application:
- The Office accepts commissions from individuals from different walks of life, churches, and organizations, and handles all scholarships as shown in the list of scholarships attached.
- Scholarships and grants handled by this office shall not be repeatedly applied and a unified review and selection system shall be adopted.
- Submission of documents as follows:
- The Chaplain Office Scholarship Application Form (download from the Office of the Chaplain website)
- Applicants who need to attach proof of being under the poverty line (choose one to attach):
- Proof of medium/low-income or households within the validity period.
- Proof of family in special circumstances within the validity period.
- Financial and tax certificate for the comprehensive income of the entire household of less than NT.300,000 in the previous year.
- Overseas students who have proof of being under the poverty line proved by his/her country (must be approved by the Office of Global Engagement).
- Transcripts of the previous semester (including conduct grades) are exempted for freshmen in the first semester of admission.
- Contents of the Applicant’s Autobiography:
- Family members’ education and work status.
- The economic status of the family.
- Over 1,000 words by handwriting or typing on A4 paper.
- Winners must participate in service learning: 18 hours per semester for children of Pastors; 12 hours per semester for general students. Those who win the academic year scholarships must participate through the entire semester year. All the hours of service learning will be arranged by the Office of the Chaplain. Those who do not complete the service learning hours or have a poor performance during the semester will be disqualified from applying for the follow-up scholarships offered by the Office of the Chaplain.
