2023-12-27 Speaker: Prof. Wu, Ci'en (Grace) Topic: "The Wounded Healer: A Journey of Ministry at Chang Jung University."
Pastor Wu Ci'en, from Changrong University, spoke about her 20-year journey as a teacher and counselor at a staff gathering on December 27th. Her talk, "The Wounded Healer: A Journey of Service," explored how her struggles helped her connect with and heal students facing challenges.
Through heartfelt stories, Pastor Wu showed how she, even with personal burdens, guided students through trauma and toward recovery. One powerful example was her support for a student who had experienced sexual assault.
Pastor Wu's message reminds us that even those with their own hardships can offer profound guidance. It encourages us to seek help when needed, knowing that God is always with us.
May God continue to bless Pastor Wu's work and retirement.
2023-12-13 Speaker: Prof. CHEN, CHING-HUEY Topic: Hope in Adversity
Chen Ching-Huey, a teacher, shared about "Hope in Adversity." She said that when we feel helpless and unable to do anything, we should re-examine ourselves and find our identity as children of God. We should walk into God's prepared blueprint, return to the original beauty of creation, and break through our limitations. In adversity, we should help each other, and may the Lord strengthen the work of our hands, and may the Lord establish our work.
