2019/12/17 Christmas Caroling Event

In the season of celebrating Christmas, CJCU has held an event to report the good news of the birth of Jesus Christ in the Datan community over the years. This event has become an event that residents of the community are looking forward to, because it not only delivers the good news to everyone, but also Can close the distance between school and community.

The Christmas Caroling Evnet started at 6 pm on December 17 2019. There was nearly one hundred faculties and students of school joined this event. This year, I would like to thank the president's wife, Ms. Su-Mei Cheng, and the colleague, Secretary-General of Mei-Yen Kuan and the president's secretary Kai-Yin Ko for joining. The Chairman Ming-Hsin Lin, the former Chairman Hsi-Chia Huang, and the Director-Genera Wen-Pin Li guided us to walk into the Datan Community from the campus, adjacent to the stations of the Taiwan Railway and the Tainan Station of the high-speed railway.
The caroling team was divided into four paths, parading the streets of Datan Community, campus student dormitories, off-campus student dormitories, and nearby business stores, singing Christmas songs such as Silent Night to community residents, students, and passengers traveling between North and South, and sending candies and Christmas cake And gospel sheets, telling the good news of the birth of Jesus, and bringing everyone a blessing of peace and joy.

Special thanks to eight members of the violin club and four students in theology department and student fellowship as guitarists this year, and the tambourine's percussion, making the whole Christmas Caroling Event full lively and joyful in singing and music. The faculties and students involved are not only Christians, but also many non-Christians. They affirmed and enjoyed this kind of event, and happy to become the messengers who delivers good news to people with the joy of singing and love. Let the caroling teams of CJCU brought the atmosphere of blessing, love and joy to those people. It showed how good the footsteps of good news messengers are.
We also want to thank the residents of the community who also gave our caroling team a loving feedback, with drinks, cookies, fruits and other gifts, so that each other received a full blessing of Christmas.
All teams returned to the student restaurant around 8 pm. Faculties and students enjoyed the night light meal together. In the atmosphere of a happy meal, the perfect ending for the 2019 Christmas Cariling event was concluded.
