Chang Jung Educational Strategic Alliance-Tribal Education Summer Camp in 2020

Chang Jung Educational Strategic Alliance supports the tribal Education Summer Camp every year, this time it was held for seven days from July 20th to July 26th at the Duona Presbyterian Church of the Rukai Central Committee in Maolin Township. The office of the chaplain has organized these activities of summer camp to recruit tribal children to join. This summer camp staff are included 14 fellowship students from Chang Jung University, and 6 students from Chang Jung Girls High School. The team was led by Rev. Guanling, Liu, and Chaplain Yenching, Ho. All the schedule are including the three-day camp, visiting tribal families, and presenting songs in church Sunday service, at the same time we also thank Douna church for providing everything for the summer camp, especially receiving the camp staff as well.
Ms. Yenching, Ho said during the planning of tribal education camp, due to the impact of the Covid19, the entire preparation schedule was postponed. However, the tribal education summer camp was still held as scheduled. Give thanks to God! All the camp staff enthusiastically participates in the summer camp. They have made unforgettable joyful memories for tribal children in this summer. Through the preparation in advance and execution of activities in the camp, the camp staff students have learned how to work with each other to complete tasks together. They have done the hard work with joyful heart, and show their gratitude to God for their growth. They have made wonderful service experience for each other in the summer tribal education camp.
Rev. Qiangsheng, Ke, the pastor of Douna Presbyterian Church, also is alumni of CJCU. Through this connection, a new base for the connection between the University and the tribal church has been created. Through serving tribal children, build the spirit of devotion and love into the tribal life.
