2020/12/21 Christmas Love & Care Caroling Event

Christmas Day is approaching, and the Office of the Chaplain of CJCU held a "Christmas Love and Care Caroling Event" on the 21st. Compared with previous years, in addition to delivering Merry Christmas and New Year’s blessings this year, we specially collected love materials from teachers, students.  We deliveried all love materials to 20 disadvantaged families in Da Tan Village, Wu Dong Village and Zhong Zhou Village, and Christian the House of Xin-Fu Little Lamb (the home of rehabilitated people). The Da Tan Police Station also participated in this event and donated blankets to disadvantaged families in Da Tan Village. The Christmas Caroling teams and the community celebrated Christmas in advance, and the atmosphere was warm and touching.

The Christmas caroling event started at 5:30 that night in three teams, with a total of about 45 people participating. The Firefly Fellowship and English Fellowship members led by the Office of the Chpalian, accompanied by the headmaster or the caring mother of village, delieveried all loving supplies to disadvantaged families.

In order to have fun with the community, the Office of the Chaplain also invited musicians from the violin club and student fellowship to bring joy to the community with joyous Christmas songs and wish them a happy Christmas and New Year.

We are very grateful to the school teachers and students for donating love materials or donations in cash, then we purchased the love materials. We thank Jesus for the birth of love and responding to the love received from God to let us send our love to families in need and give warmth in the cold winter.
